Everything you need to know before you arrive.
Dry hire
For producers, engineers & bands running their own session.
What to bring
- Laptop: Required. We don’t provide one. Bring your own with your DAW (Logic, Ableton, Pro Tools, etc.)
- Session files: Stems, rough mixes, or project files ready to load
- Headphones: Optional; we provide monitors and cans
- USB drive: For backing up recordings at the end
Prep tips
- Bounce stems: Export clean stems so you're not hunting for sounds.
- Label files: Use clear names (Vocal_01, Guitar_DI).
- Rough mix: Helps you know where everything sits.
- Arrive on time: Session starts at booked time. Late = lost time.
Artists
For vocalists, rappers & singers coming to record.
What to bring
- Lyrics: Printed or on your phone, fully finished
- Beat / backing track: WAV or MP3 ready to play; bring USB or have it on your phone
- Reference tracks: If you want a specific vibe or mix style
- USB drive: For taking your stems home

When you arrive
Head to Evans House, 1st Floor, Unit HL1. On-site parking; details in your confirmation. Bring your own laptop (we don’t provide one) and your files. If you've booked with an engineer, they'll handle setup. For dry hire, the room is ready: plug in and go.
